Enable and configure platform features for your franchise.

Available Features

Core Features

These features are included with all subscriptions:

Enabling Features

  1. Go to Settings > Features
  2. Toggle the feature on/off
  3. Configure feature-specific settings
  4. Click Save

Subscription Required

Some features require subscription upgrades. Contact support for pricing.

Feature Configuration

Scheduling Settings

Setting Description
Schedule publish lead time Minimum days before shifts
Allow shift swaps Enable employee swap requests
Require swap approval Manager must approve swaps
Overtime threshold Hours before overtime warning
Show labor costs Display cost estimates

Time Off Settings

Setting Description
Request advance notice Minimum days before requested date
Auto-approve threshold Hours that auto-approve
Blackout date enforcement How strictly to enforce
Balance display Show balance to employees

Onboarding Settings

Setting Description
Required documents Which forms are mandatory

Feature Dependencies

Some features require others to be enabled:

Scheduling (required for all)
    └── Time Off (requires Scheduling)
    └── Shift Swaps (requires Scheduling)

Employee Management (required for all)
    └── Onboarding (requires Employee Management)

Per-Location Features

Enable features for specific locations only:

  1. Go to Settings > Features
  2. Click Location Overrides
  3. Select the location
  4. Toggle features for that location
  5. Click Save

This is useful when:

  • Piloting features at one location
  • Different locations have different needs
  • Phased rollouts
