Store Locations

Configure your franchise store locations and their settings.

Viewing Locations

  1. Go to Settings > Locations
  2. View list of configured stores
  3. Click any location to edit

Adding a Location

  1. Click Add Location
  2. Enter required information:

Location Name Display name (e.g., "Downtown") Yes
Location Code Short identifier (e.g., "DT") Yes
Address Street address Yes
City City name Yes
State State abbreviation Yes
ZIP Code Postal code Yes
Phone Store phone number Yes
Timezone Store timezone Yes
  1. Click Save

Location Settings

Basic Information

  • Location Name: How the store appears in the system
  • Location Code: Short code used in reports and schedules
  • Status: Active or Inactive

Contact Information

  • Address: Full street address
  • Phone: Main store phone number
  • Email: Store email address (optional)

Operating Hours

Set default operating hours for scheduling:

Day Open Close
Monday 10:00 AM 10:00 PM
Tuesday 10:00 AM 10:00 PM
... ... ...

These hours help with scheduling templates and coverage reports.

R365 Integration Fields

If using Restaurant365, configure these additional fields:

Field Description Format
Location Number R365 location identifier Numeric
IRS Establishment Number For Form 8027 Up to 5 digits
Sales Tax Rate Local sales tax percentage e.g., 7.75
Date Established Store opening date MM/DD/YYYY
POS Import Type Data sync setting None / Sales / Sales and Labor

Managing Multiple Locations

Switching Locations

Use the location selector in the header to switch between stores.

Multi-Location Reports

Run reports across all locations:

  1. Go to Reports
  2. Select report type
  3. Choose "All Locations" in the filter
  4. Run report

Deactivating a Location

If a store closes or is no longer managed:

  1. Go to Settings > Locations
  2. Click the location
  3. Change status to Inactive
  4. Click Save

Deactivation Effects

  • Employees at this location won't appear in scheduling
  • Historical data is preserved
  • Location can be reactivated later

Best Practices

Location Setup Tips

  1. Use consistent naming - Establish a naming convention
  2. Keep codes short - 2-3 characters is ideal
  3. Verify addresses - Ensure addresses are correct for mapping
  4. Set timezones correctly - Important for notifications
  5. Complete R365 fields - If using integration
